The 10-Minute Method

Three rules. That's the whole thing.

Your child gets maybe two hours of football a week. Everything that separates the players who kick on from the ones who don't happens in the hours nobody organises. This is how you use them.

1

Ten minutes

No longer. Short enough to finish before boredom arrives, long enough to make a difference. It's the length that makes it repeatable.

2

Three times a week

Little and often beats one long Sunday session every single time. Skill is built through repeated exposure, not marathons.

3

Finish on a game

Every session ends on something fun. That's what makes them ask to do it again on Thursday — and asking again is the whole battle.

Sound familiar?

You want to help. You just don't know what to do.

Most parents want to practise with their kid and stall at the same three places. These books were built to remove all three.

1

“I don't know any drills”

You end up kicking a ball back and forth for twenty minutes and calling it practice. Better than nothing — but it isn't training.

2

“I don't know what to say”

You can see it isn't quite right but can't explain why. Every drill comes with the exact coaching cues, in plain English.

3

“They lose interest”

Ten minutes, game-based, finished before the fun runs out — with a tracker to keep the habit alive.

The series

A ladder from first touch to full fitness

Each book stands alone. Together they take a player from their very first touches at five to strength work and game intelligence at sixteen.

First Touch Foundations

AGES 5–7

Toe taps, sole rolls and traffic lights. Getting comfortable with a ball at their feet.

Ball Mastery Bootcamp

AGES 7–9

BOOK 03

Pass & Receive Like a Pro

AGES 7–10

Everything you can build with a ball and a wall. Both feet, every time.

BOOK 04

Finish It

AGES 8–11

Shooting and striking technique that holds up when it actually matters.

AGES 9–12

Step overs, the croqueta, change of pace. Beat your player, both sides.

BOOK 09

Game Intelligence

AGES 11–15

Scanning, body orientation and decisions. What coaches notice first.

BOOK 10

Strength & Conditioning

AGES 12–16

Bodyweight only. Build a body that survives a full season.

Inside every book

Built to be used, not read

Step-by-step diagrams

Every drill drawn frame by frame, so a skill move reads as a sequence rather than a still picture.

Coaching cues

The exact words to say. “Soft foot, like catching an egg” beats “cushion it” — and this tells you why.

Sets, reps and timings

Every drill carries a dose. No guessing whether that's five reps or fifty.

Level up options

A harder version of every drill, so the same book still works six months later.

4-week tracker

A printable page for the fridge. Colour a star for effort, not for getting it right.

A weekly plan

Which drills, which session, what to finish on. Open it and go.

Questions

Before you buy

Do I need to know anything about football?

No. Every drill is written for someone who has never coached. You get the steps, the exact words to say, and a diagram showing what it should look like. If you can read it out and encourage, you can run it.

What equipment do we need?

A ball and a bit of space — a garden, a driveway or the local park. A few drills use markers, and shoes, water bottles or rolled-up socks work fine. Two books use a wall. Nothing needs buying.

Which book should I start with?

Go by age. Book 1 suits 5–7 and the ladder runs to Book 10 for 12–16. If they're between bands, start on the lower one — early wins build confidence faster than the challenge does.

Is this for coaches too?

Yes. The free Coaches Pack is built for running team sessions, and the later books are written in coach-facing language. Plenty of coaches use the series as homework to send home with players.

How do I get the books?

Instant download as PDFs straight after checkout. Read them on a phone at the park, or print the pages you're using that week.

What's your refund policy?

These are digital downloads delivered instantly, so at checkout you'll be asked to consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you're waiving the standard 14-day cancellation right. That's how instant-delivery digital products work.

If something's genuinely wrong — the file won't download, it's corrupted, or it isn't what was described — email us and we'll sort it out straight away. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 aren't affected by anything here.

Will this get my child into an academy?

No, and be wary of anyone who tells you otherwise. This is one coaching approach among many — a set of tools that may help. Player development depends on far more than any book can control. What we can promise is a structure, a hundred drills that work, and the words to say while you're doing them.

Six days a week are yours. Use ten minutes of them.

One hundred drills that take a player from their first touch to their first proper season. Start wherever they are.
